THE LEGAL STUFF
1. You own rights to your video work, TPT has the right to use it. Participants will retain copyright in their work, but each Participant grants to TPT a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, assignable, royalty-free license to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, create derivative works, transmit or disseminate the Participant’s video in all media or platforms whether now known or hereafter invented. Participant will not be paid.
By participating in this project and submitting a video, each Participant grants permission for TPT to use Participant's video, name, likeness, voice, quotes, comments, biographical information, photograph and/or image for the purpose of and for the project and promotion of the project without further notice, permission, compensation or consideration in any and all media now known or hereafter developed throughout the universe, unless prohibited by law. Participant understands and agrees that Participant cannot later ask TPT not to use Participant’s video. If we select your video, you and your parent/legal guardian will be asked to give us written permission to use it.
2. Rights of TPT. TPT will have the right and sole discretion to select, edit, to refuse to air or transmit, or cease to air or transmit any video which it finds in its sole discretion to be otherwise objectionable for any reason, including with respect to TPT's standards and practices and other policies.
Indemnification. If another person or organization brings a lawsuit against TPT for using your video, or make any claim arising from your possible violation of someone’s trademark, copyright, or other legally protected interest, you agree to cover the costs and fees TPT incurs in defending and paying any settlement or judgment.
